Niall Carrol

Niall Carroll

Niall Carroll is the Group Chairman and co-founder of CG Tech. With over 40 years of experience, he has held leadership roles in global finance, including heading Deutsche Bank’s investment banking in South Africa and serving as the founding CEO of Royal Bafokeng Holdings, valued at over USD 4 billion. A Chartered Accountant and CFA, Niall is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an ambassador of the XPRIZE Foundation. Today, he provides strategic and governance leadership across CG Tech, helping shape a portfolio that delivers equitable abundance and long-term value.

Andrew

Andrew Jackson

Andrew qualified as a geologist from the University of Natal and is a chartered financial analyst. He has 25 years of experience in mining and financial markets and has worked in a number of African countries and the Middle East. After an initial period as an exploration geologist for De Beers, in the mid 1990’s he joined Deutsche Bank South Africa and became a director of mining equity research. In 2004, he joined Royal Bafokeng Finance (subsequently Royal Bafokeng Holdings) as its second employee and Chief Investment Officer and oversaw the diversification and growth of its investment portfolio to more than USD 4 billion. In 2010, he became an executive director of Mining Oil and Gas Services (MOGS).

Jason English

Jason English is the CEO and co-founder of CG Tech, with over 25 years of experience in leadership across oil & gas, construction, and technology sectors. With qualifications in mechanical engineering, business, and project management, Jason brings a cross-industry perspective to building sustainable businesses. He is a published author, public speaker, and active member of YPO and Abundance360. Jason leads CG Tech’s innovation ecosystem, mentoring subsidiary leadership teams and enabling strategic execution for growth and long-term success.

Joseph

Joseph Zinyana

Joseph has over 25 years of welding experience and began his career as a metallurgical engineer where he was responsible for quality management and welding procedure qualification for Sasol in Secunda. Joseph was also responsible for the certification and approval of various welding procedures for a variety of companies. Joseph’s business interests began in 2002 with the establishment of New Age Engineering whereby he provided specialised welding support services to clients in the Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power & Utility sectors.

Suzanne

Suzan Zinyana

As Co-Founder, Suzan has played a pivotal role in establishing New Age Engineering Solutions and building it into the thriving company it is today. She has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth and success since its inception. To this day, she manages the administrative personnel to ensure strong back-office support that, in turn, enables seamless business operations. She is also responsible for driving business growth through proactive business development initiatives. Suzan has a particular passion for uplifting others along the way, and over the years, she has initiated a series of community development projects, including the company’s youth and internship programme, which was launched in 2016. Suzan furthermore spread her entrepreneurial wings to the leisure industry, and her enterprising spirit and ability to conceptualise new ways to do things better continue to add value for New Age Engineering Solutions’ colleagues and clients alike.

Danny

Dany De Barros

Dany has over 15 years of construction experience, is a qualified CA (SA) and has a Leadership and Management Diploma from Gibbs. Prior to joining the Prommac Team, he spent 3 years at Murray & Roberts as the General Manager for the Resources and Industrial Division. Before joining Murray & Roberts, Dany spent more than 7 years as the Financial Director of Kentz Engineers & Constructors. Dany has experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Metals, Power and Mining and has worked with several blue chip clients. Dany is Portuguese speaking and has successfully opened new business operations in over 10 countries in Africa. Dany is also a member of the Johannesburg Chapter of YPO.

Steven Corfield Moore

Steven Corfield

An industry veteran with decades of hands-on experience, he has worked across the UK, the Middle East and wider international markets, establishing long-term client relationships and an international delivery footprint. Steven continues to guide the company's strategic direction.

Max

Max Corfield Moore

Max is a Director of Serious Stages Ltd, a 35-year-old, family-run business that designs, manufactures and constructs stages and temporary structures internationally. Max has experience working with some of the biggest events in the business from Glastonbury Festival, Leeds and Reading Festival, to the London 2012 Olympics and the Ryder Cup 2018, along with artists such as Elton John and Rod Stewart. Max has worked in various locations including Australia, the Middle East, South America and the USA where Serious Stages Ltd has partners. Max has two degrees in economics and finance, and has a passion for investing in small businesses and coaching other companies and Directors.

Syed Ibrahim Yacoob is the visionary Founder and Managing Director of Mecton Group, a fast-growing engineering and industrial services firm with a presence across the GCC region and the Asian subcontinent. With over three decades of cross-industry experience, Mr. Syed Ibrahim Yacoob has held senior leadership roles at major conglomerates such as Philips, BPL Sanyo, Aircel, and Tata. His expertise spans sectors and geographies, bringing a blend of technical rigor and strategic foresight to every business decision.

Chief Financial Officer

Karen Cumming is CG Tech’s Chief Financial Officer with over two decades of experience in financial leadership roles. A Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and University of Witwatersrand graduate, Karen has held senior roles in listed companies focused on engineering and sustainability. She supports CG Tech’s subsidiaries in enhancing financial reporting, compliance, risk management, and capital planning, helping drive strategic financial health across the group.

Rose Al Qassab

Chief Marketing Officer

Rose Qassab is CG Tech’s CMO, leading strategic marketing, branding, and PR across the group. With a Master of Science in Business Psychology and over 15 years of experience, Rose has held senior roles at Expo 2020 Dubai, Bayt.com, and WSF Creative. She specialises in consumer engagement, digital campaign strategy, and market positioning. Rose works closely with CG Tech’s companies to amplify brand visibility, optimise digital channels, and elevate customer experience.

Frank Mathews

Chief Digital Officer

Frank Mathews serves as CG Tech’s Director of Digital Operations. With 20+ years of experience in engineering, construction, and technology, Frank leads digital strategy, AI integration, and business intelligence development. A graduate of MIT technology programs and certified in IT and project management, he supports group companies in optimising workflows, refining tech stacks, and embedding digital solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Cayleigh

Cayleigh Klinkhamer

Video Editor and Graphic Designer

Cayleigh Klinkhamer is CG Tech’s in-house video editor and designer with over 10 years of experience in multimedia production. A graduate of City Varsity, she manages the end-to-end production process from concept to final cut, crafting high-impact visual content for both digital and corporate channels. Her work spans video editing, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects that bring CG Tech’s brand and stories to life.

Kim Harris

Executive Assistant

Kim Harris brings more than 20 years of experience as an executive assistant across sectors including property development, finance, and healthcare. At CG Tech, she provides high-level administrative support to the executive team and mentorship to EAs across the group. With strong project coordination skills and a collaborative mindset, Kim ensures seamless executive operations and stakeholder engagement.
